Through the discovery of many wasteland plots, punctuating the rugged topography of the field, an old unused wool-spinning factory opens for new possibilities. Reinvesting the social part of the textile history, significant in traditional Turkish culture. A cycle of material transformation begins, from a textile market to fiber recycling into construction bricks, insulation panels of furniture, to textile crafts workshops and teaching or training facilities. This network spreads into the urban fabric of the district by opening up a public space on the riverfront. A story of fabric, textures and light.
